New York Islanders - Your #Isles40th favorite moments
Thursday, 10.27.2011 / 10:07 AM
One of my greatest Islanders' moments was my first game, Oct 14, 1972, against the Boston Bruins. The clearest memory I have from that game is when Jimmy Mair scored on a slapshot, just as he crossed the blueline, and beat Eddie Johnston. Even though Boston won 7-4, I was hooked and have not looked back.
The second moment for me was when I got to meet Jean Potvin, my all time favorite Islander. It is his name and number I wear to games.
