Everyone in Islanders Country is excited about John Tavares' selection to his first NHL All-Star Game.
We will be in Ottawa this weekend with John as he experiences the media frenzy and all of the All-Star treatment the NHL has to offer.
The fesitvites begin tonight with the Molson Canadian NHL All-Star Player Fantasy Draft. The fun gets under way at 8 p.m. on NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus) and we will be live blogging and tweeting (@NYIslanders) throughout. Join us for the live blog at 8 p.m. here.
