Updates from March 23rd games

Last night all the Isles prospects in this years Canadian Hockey League playoffs were in action. Here are the updates:
The Niagra IceDogs took a 2-0 series lead over Oshawa with a 6-1 win on the road last night. Ryan Strome assisted on Freddie Hamilton's second period goal which put the IceDogs up 2-0. Strome is third on the Ontario Hockey League playoff scoring leaderboard with five points (1g/5a) in two games. Defenseman Mitchell Theoret did not play, but he tweeted: Off to the rink for a skate. Hoping to be back in the lineup for Sunday #RoadToRecovery.
The Guleph Storm took a 1-0 series lead, beating Plymouth 4-2 on the road Friday night. Andrey Pedan's second period goal gave the Storm a 3-0 lead. The Storm return home tomorrow for Game 2.
In the Western Hockey League playoffs, the Spokane Chiefs fell to Vancouver, 7-5, on Friday night. Brendan Kichton, the Chiefs top scoring d-man was held to one assist in the loss. The Chiefs are on the ice tonight for Game 2 in Vancouver.
Kirill Kabanov had a goal in Shawinagan's 7-1 rout of visitor Rouyn-Noranda in Game 2 of their series. The Cataractes play Game 2 Saurday afternoon.
