Ryan Strome, Mitchell Theoret and the Niagara IceDogs have advanced to the Ontario Hockey League Conference Finals. They'll face the Ottawa 67’s in the seven-game series for the right to advance to the OHL Finals.

Theoret, the Islanders’ seventh round selection (185th overall) in 2011, has two assists in seven playoff games. He finished the regular season with 21 points (12 goals, nine assists) in 62 games.
Andrey Pedan and the Guelph Storm fell in the opening round of the OHL Playoffs to the Plymouth Whalers. Pedan led all Storm defensemen in scoring with four points (one goal, three assists) in six playoff games. The Islanders’ third round selection (63rd overall) in 2011 posted career highs in 63 regular season games, with 10 goals and 30 assists.
Kirill Kabanov and the Shawinigan Cataractes were eliminated in Game 7 of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Quarter Finals. Kabanov, the Islanders’ third round pick (65th overall) in the 2010 Draft, led the Cataractes in scoring with 13 points (four goals, nine assists) in 11 games. He also posted career highs in 50 regular season games, with 21 goals and 34 assists.
Brenden Kichton’s Spokane Chiefs fell in Game 7 of the Western Hockey League Conference Semifinal to the Tri-City Americans on Wednesday, April 18. The Islanders’ fifth round selection (127th overall) in the 2011 Draft has been sidelined with an injury during the playoffs, but led all WHL defensemen this season with 74 points (17 goals, 57 assists) in 71 regular season games.
