The Edina, Minn., native notched at least one point in five of his eight games, with three multi-point contests. He also recorded a +5 rating and was named the Postgame Offensive Player of the Week twice while firing 34 shots on goal.
The New York Islanders sixth-round pick in 2009 opened the month with a goal and an assist in a 3-2 loss to Western Michigan and then scored two goals, one coming while short-handed, in a 4-0 shutout win over the Broncos the following game. After three straight games of being held off the scoresheet, the Notre Dame captain finished the month strong with four goals and an assist in his final three games. He tallied the Irish’s lone goal on the power play in the series opener against North Dakota and then potted three points the next night off two goals, including the game-winning tally, and an assist to lead Notre Dame to a 5-2 win. Lee wrapped up the month with a goal against Lake Superior, a 3-2 Irish win.
Special mention for CCHA Player of the Month honors goes to Lake Superior senior forward Nick McParland, Miami sophomore forward Austin Czarnik, Michigan State sophomore forward Matt Berry and Northern Michigan sophomore forward Reed Seckel.
