Items Available at Sandy Hook Elementary School Auction

The New York Islanders and Bridgeport Sound Tigers have released the list of items that will be up for auction to raise funds for Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT. The two-week auction will begin on Monday, Jan. 7 at noon and features memorabilia from across the sports world, including items from 22 NHL and 25 AHL clubs.

Fans can access the auction by visiting http://islanders.nhl.com/Sandyhook. Bidding will close at 10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20.

Marquee items include a signed “Team Alfredsson” jersey from the 2012 NHL All-Star Game signed by both All-Star teams, as well as jerseys signed by past and present NHL stars like John Tavares, Alex Ovechkin, Steve Yzerman, Scott Niedermayer, Eric Staal, Mario Lemieux and more.
