Senators player to watch
Daniel Alfredsson - Right Wing
At 40-years-old, the Senators Swedish captain is still going strong, ranking second on the team with 11 points (four goals, seven assists). One of the steadiest players since entering the league in 1995, Alfredsson will be counted on more now that the Senators are without several key players due to injury. Alfredsson earned an assist the last time the two teams met on Feb. 19.

Islanders Storylines
•The Isles have scored four first-period goals in their last three games after scoring only seven first-period goals in their first 18 games.
•By forcing overtime on Feb. 28 vs. Toronto, the Isles earned their seventh point of the season in a game that they trailed by two goals (with previous wins at TOR, at NYR and at MTL).
On Feb. 28, Josh Bailey, Lubomir Visnovsky and Andrew MacDonald each scored their first goals of the season, while Kyle Okposo scored three points (1g/2a).
