Thanks to Hopscotch Air, lifetime Islanders fan John Andruskiewicz caught his favorite hockey team on the road Thursday night at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. John earned the trip by liking Hopscotch Air on Facebook and successfully answering trivia questions about the Islanders-Flyers rivalry.

Along with his brother and friend, John’s group of three departed Republic Airport in Farmingdale at 4:30 p.m. the day of the game and arrived in Philadelphia just 40 minutes later. Along the way, Hopscotch’s pilot educated John and his buddies about the plane and pointed out sites and landmarks along the way. John didn’t need any help though recognizing Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum from a few thousand feet in the air.

Things only got better once they arrived in Philadelphia. Hopscotch Air provided four tickets to a suite for John, his buddies, and the pilot.

“I would absolutely recommend Hopscotch. I can’t say enough good things about it,” John said while decked out in his orange and blue Islanders jersey.

Following the game, John’s group immediately returned back to Long Island, landing before midnight. Thanks to Hopscotch Air, a roundtrip Long Island to Philadelphia experience, which included a hockey game, took less than eight hours!

Hopscotch Air provides low-cost, quick accommodations on personal planes all over the Northeast. For more information, visit www.flyhopscotch.com.
