NewYorkIslanders.com has selected the nine goals from the Islanders 2013 season, and it's up to you, the fans, to decide which will move on in our tournament bracket. Come back daily beginning August 12 to select each day's winner, and on August 22, we'll unveil which goal you've selected as the best of 2013. Voting runs from 12:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. each day.

The semi-finals begin with today's matchup between John Tavares' game-winning goal from Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals and Michael Grabner's breakaway goal against Tampa Bay. Only one will advance to the finals.

John Tavares - May 7 vs. Pittsburgh

After overcoming two deficits in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series against the Penguins, Tavares weaves through the Pittsburgh zone to put the Islanders ahead 5-4 midway through the third period.


Michael Grabner - Jan. 21 vs. Tampa Bay

Mark Streit feeds Grabner with a home run pass, and the Islanders winger converts a partial breakaway, getting the puck around Anders Lindback to put the Islanders in front 1-0.
