LAST SEASON:
Led all Bridgeport Sound Tigers defensemen in scoring and ranked third overall on the team with 45 points (10g/35a) in 72 games during his rookie season in the American Hockey League...Finished fourth among AHL defensemen in scoring and earned 2011-12 AHL All-Rookie First Team Honors...Made his NHL debut with the Islanders on Apr. 3 at New Jersey and played in the final three games of the season...Led the Sound Tigers in games played with 72, missing only four games (one due to suspension, three due to NHL recall)...Posted two goals and 10 assists in 11 January games.
