| ISLANDERS TRANSACTIONS: Selected by the Islanders in the second round (31st overall) of the 2009 National Hockey League Draft. Loaned to KalPa of the SM-Liiga (Sweden) on November 15, 2011. LAST SEASON: Began his third season in North America with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League, before being loaned to KalPa of Finland’s SM-Liiga on Nov. 15 after four AHL games...Played in 25 games for KalPa, recording a 13-5-4 record with a 2.30 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage...Posted five shutouts...Also appeared in six playoff games, going 3-2 with a 2.23 GAA and a .889 SV%.
