CAREER:
2010-11: Scored 21 points (8g/13a) in 42 games as a freshman at North Dakota…Tied for seventh on the team in goals and tied for fifth in power-play goals (4).

2009-10: Recorded a point in every game of his senior season at Warroad High School in Minnesota...Scored 73 points (39 goals, 34 assists) in 25 games (2.92 PPG)...Scored a goal in all but two games...Was one of 10 finalists for the Mr. Hockey Award, given annually to the most outstanding High School senior hockey player in Minnesota.

2008-09: Posted 76 points (45g/31a) in 31 games during his junior campaign at Warroad.

PERSONAL: His uncle, Dave Christian, was a member of the 1980 United States Olympic Gold Medal-winning team and enjoyed an NHL career that spanned over 1,000 games and totaled 773 points. His grandfather, Billy Christian, and great uncle, Roger Christian, played on Team USA’s 1960 Gold Medal-winning men’s hockey team. His great uncle Gordon Christian played hockey for the University of North Dakota (1947-1950) and was a member of the U.S. Olympic team that won silver in 1956.
