LAST SEASON: 
Appeared in his first 10 NHL games with the Islanders at the end of his second professional season, after spending the majority of the campaign with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League... Scored 16 points (12g/4a) in 46 games with Bridgeport... Missed a total of 18 games in November and December with an upper-body injuiry... Recalled from Bridgeport and made his NHL debut on Mar. 27 at Tampa Bay... Scored his first NHL goal on Apr. 5 vs. Washington (B. Holtby).

CAREER:  2012-13: Scored 29 points (17g/12a) in 65 games as a rookie with Bridgeport (AHL)... Finished third on the team in goals (17), fourth in power-play goals (4) and seventh in points... Scored game-winning goals in two of the first three games of the season (Oct. 12 at Connecticut, Oct. 20 at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton)... Registered his first pro fight against Kyle Jean on Nov. 11 vs. Connecticut...
