  Played 13 games with the Islanders following the completion of his junior season at Lake Superior State University of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association...Made his NHL debut Mar. 18 vs. Minnesota...Recorded his first NHL assist/point on Mar. 25 at Carolina...At LSSU, set career highs in goals (10), assists (11) and points (21) in 36 games...Named his team’s MVP and most valuable defenseman...Led all WCHA defensemen in goals and tied for third in the nation among defensemen...Named to the All-WCHA Second Team...Was the first LSSU player to go directly to the NHL since Doug Weight in 1990.
