WEEK IN REVIEW
Wednesday, November 16th vs. Philadelphia Phantoms 1-0 W CHRIS MADDEN continued his stellar play between the pipes by stopping all 29 shots he faced for the team's first shutout of the season.  It was Madden's first doughnut as a Sound Tiger and the third of his AHL career.  PAUL FLACHE upped an assist streak to three games with a beautiful two-zone pass to set up the game's only goal by KEVIN COLLEY.  The win was the Sound Tigers' third straight at home and sixth in a row overall.

Friday, November 18th at Hartford Wolf Pack 6-4 L Returning to the scene of their last road loss, the Sound Tigers saw their three-game road winning streak snapped as Hartford converted both ends of a two-man advantage in a 20-second span just past the mid-point of the third period to turn a 4-4 deadlock into a 6-4 win.  ALEXANDRE GIROUX powered the Wolf Pack by scoring shorthanded, at even strength and on the power play for a hat trick.  ALLAN ROURKE and JEFF HAMILTON both scored on the power play while MATT KOALSKA lit the lamp twice, off assists from STEVE REGIER and EVGENY TUNIK each time, for the Sound Tigers.

Saturday, November 19th vs. Springfield Falcons 4-3 L The Sound Tigers saw their three-game home winning streak end as they were once again done in by a couple of quick goals in the third period.  Top Islanders prospect BRUNO GERVAIS had a big night scoring 44 seconds into the game on the power play and shorthanded 54 seconds into the third period during a five-minute major.  However, Springfield's MITCH FRITZ and RYAN VESCE tallied 44 seconds apart just shy of the mid-point of the third period to put the Falcons ahead 4-3.  MATT KOALSKA scored the other Sound Tigers goal for his third tally and fourth point of the weekend.

Sunday, November 20th vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 5-2 L JEFF HAMILTON and COLE JARRETT scored 1:24 apart late in the third period as the Sound Tigers nearly rallied against the AHL's top team, but Wilkes-Barre/Scranton improved to 16-0-1 overall and 9-0 on the road with two goals, including an empty-netter, in the final minute-and-a-half of play.  TOMAS SUROVY had a hat trick for the Penguins who were given 11 power plays as compared to six for the Sound Tigers.
