Islander fans can get a close-up look at the new coach and his philosophies when Brad Shaw conducts his "Behind the Bench" segment for FSN on Tuesday LIVE from Studio F, the interactive TV studio in the lower box office area at Nassau Coliseum, just outside the Blueline Bar & Grill.

Traditionally, the coach's interview is taped around 6:15 pm, but Coach Shaw has agreed to do his pre-game intervew for the Devils game live, so fans should come to Studio F between 6:30-6:45 to throw their support behind the new coach, who is 2-2-1in his first five games. Fans also have the opportunity to get their questions about the team to FSN studio host Deb Kaufman, who will ask some of the best questions to Shaw on the air.

At practice at Islanders Iceworks today, Shaw continued his focus on winning battles to score goals. "It's hard to score goals when you're going at 75-80% speed," Shaw said. "It takes a lot more than that, a lot more than just throwing pucks toward the net. We've worked hard on that the last week to get the message across."

So Islander fans, try to get to Tuesday's game early and say hello to Coach Shaw at 6:30 pm at Studio F.
