SOUND TIGERS NOTEBOOK
Week In Review

Friday, March 10th at Norfolk, 4-2 L - JEFF HAMILTON and JEREMY COLLITON scored for the Sound Tigers, but JASON MORGAN had three points while CARL CORAZZINI and MATT KEITH had two apiece for Norfolk as the Admirals won the first game of the weekend set 4-2.  Each team was 1 for 3 on the power play.  The Sound Tigers had a 30-23 shots on goal advantage.

Saturday, March 11th at Norfolk, 5-2 W - ROB COLLINS (1+2) and JEREMY COLLITON (2+1) led with three points apiece as the Sound Tigers never trailed in a 5-2 win.  JEFF HAMILTON (1+1) and BRUNO GERVAIS (0+2) had two points apiece, DAVID MASSE scored once and WADE DUBIELEWICZ made 30 saves for the Sound Tigers who were 2 for 8 on the power play and 6 for 7 on the penalty kill.

CALDER CUP PLAYOFF PICTURE
The  Sound  Tigers  began this week sitting in the fourth-and-final playoff spot in the East Division with a 33-27-4-2 record and 72 points, two behind the   third-place   Norfolk  Admirals  and  12  ahead  of  the  fifth-place Philadelphia  Phantoms.   The  Sound Tigers are also 11 points ahead of the Lowell  Lock  Monsters who are in fifth place in the Atlantic Division; the fifth-place  team in the Atlantic Division can steal the fourth spot in the East  Division  if  that fifth-place Atlantic team has more points than the fourth-place East team.

UPCOMING SOUND TIGERS SCHEDULE
Friday, March 17th at Providence, 7:05 p.m.
- The Sound Tigers will make their final visit of the regular season to Rhode Island.  They have gone 1-1 in the season series with the P-Bruins so far winning at home but losing on the road.

Saturday, March 18th at Portland, 7:05 p.m. - The Sound Tigers will reach the mid point of a stretch of seven straight road games with their first visit to Portland this season.  They will also be looking for their first win of the season series having lost a pair of home games to the Pirates.

INJURY UPDATE
- JUSTIN PAPINEAU (shoulder) is now day-to-day.
- CHRIS MADDEN (knee) and JODY ROBINSON (knee) are out indefinitely.

- D VINCE MACRI was reassigned to the ECHL's Fresno Falcons Friday.
