On Sunday night in Cranbrook British Columbia the Kelowna Rockets defeated the Kootenay Ice by a score of 5-2 to win the series four games to two. Blake assisted on the Rockets' 4th goal and was a +3 in the game. Blake was the leading scorer for Kelowna in the series with a total of 7 points in six games. Head coach Jeff Truitt was pleased with Blake's overall game and they are now gearing up for round two against the stingy Everett Silvertips.

Defenseman - Brandon vs Moose Jaw (OHL first round)

On Sunday night in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan the Brandon Wheat Kings fell to the Moose Jaw Warriors by a score of 1-0 to fall behind in the series three games to two. Dustin and the rest of the Brandon Wheat Kings played a solid defensive game but could not solve Moose Jaw's goaltender #31 Joey Perricone. Dustin hopes going back home to Brandon with the home crowd behind them might pick up their energy level enough to force a game seven.

On Sunday in Belleville, Luch Aquino assisted on the game-winner to help the Brampton Batallion defeat the Belleville Bulls 5-2 to win the series four games to two in the first round of the OHL playoffs.Luch was excited to be playing against their division rivals the Barrie Colts in the second round. "The ice surface is large in Barrie and this gives our forwards time and space to create more offensive chances," said Luch. Luch leads his team and the OHL in scoring in the playoffs with 13 points.

NICK TUZZOLINO (2005 seventh round pick)
Center - Sudbury vs. Kingston (OHL first round)

On Sunday night in Sudbury Ontario Nick Tuzzolino assisted on Benoit Pouliot's 8th goal of the playoffs, a shorthanded tally, to help Sudbury to a 4-0 victory over the Kingston Frontenacs and win the first round of the OHL playoffs four games to two. Sudbury now faces the Eastern Conference regular season champions Peterborough Petes in round 2 of the OHL playoffs.

JASON PITTON (2004 eighth round pick)
LW - Guelph vs. Saginaw (OHL first round)

Jason scored his second goal of the series in Game 4 to give his Guelph team a 4-3 win and a four-game sweep of Saginaw. The Storm's next game will not be until Thursday at theh earliest and will be against either Owen Sound or Plymouth.
