O\'SULLIVAN ADDED TO SCOUTING STAFF

Islanders general manager Garth Snow today announced the hiring of former NHL defenseman Chris O'Sullivan as a scout. O'Sullivan will focus primarily on the Northeast region of the United States.

After retiring as a player in 2003, O'Sullivan spent three years as a pro scout for the Colorado Avalanche. The former defenseman played a total of 62 NHL games over stints with Calgary, Vancouver and Anaheim. Prior to his pro career, he played at Boston University from 1992 - 1996. O'Sullivan was named All-America and his team won the NCAA Championship in 1995.
