Line combinations set for North Bay matchup against Atlanta
For tonight’s matchup against the Atlanta Thrashers in North Bay, set for a 7 pm faceoff, Josef Vasicek will center Jeff Tambellini, who will see time on the left wing, and Jon Sim on the right.
Richard Park will have Sean Bergenheim on his left and Olivier Labelle, a camp invitee, on his right. The “Great Dane,” Frans Nielsen has Chris Simon on his left and Tim Jackman on the right. Kip Brennan, Ben Walter and Blake Comeau will also see time together.
On defense, Bruno Gervais and Chris Campoli will be paired together. Their task will most likely be to shutdown Ilya Kovalchuk at even strength. Freddy Meyer is paired with Dustin Kohn, while Aaron Johnson will play with Matthew Spiller.
Joey MacDonald will get the nod in goal tonight.
