A PRO AT FACEOFFS: Faceoff specialist Mike Sillinger is up to his old tricks again. The 17-year veteran continues to climb the NHL faceoff charts. Sillinger leads the Islanders and now ranks seventh in the NHL with a 56.9 faceoff winning percentage. He has ranked in the top-15 among the top NHL faceoff leaders in the past six seasons.

I'LL TAKE IT: The Islanders are using Sillinger’s faceoff prowess to good use. Sillinger ranks seventh in the NHL by taking 34.3 percent of the Islanders’ faceoffs. Last season, Sillinger ranked fourth in the NHL with a 58.8 faceoff winning percentage.
