The Islanders Booster Club kicked off the start of the 2009-2010 season with special guest appearances by both Islanders Assistant Coaches Dean Chynoweth and Scott Allen.  Both Coaches were greeted warmly by a room filled with Booster Club Members that were eager to ask many questions.  The meeting started out by taking care of a few items of business that the club had but then the meeting opened up into a meet and greet.  Both Allen and Chynoweth were able to give the fans a background of their hockey careers and then were able to answer questions.  Both Allen and Chynoweth gave the fans a very in depth look at their coaching styles and what the fans should expect from this seasons team.
