On his summer…
My summer has been great. I’ve had a good mix of working out and rest and relaxation. I think it’s important to get a lot of rest in just because during the season you don’t get that opportunity. I mostly just get out on the golf course. I try to get out at least three or four times a week. I’d say Kyle [Okposo] and I have some good battles but I have to give him some strokes.

On skating with any players in the summer…
There’s a small group, but normally I just get a couple guys and go out and shoot pucks and just work on little things.

On his summer workout regimen…
Jesse [Demers] puts us through a tough workout. I probably go an hour and a half of weights and plyos and stuff and then usually I have a 15 minute warmup and a 15 minute cool down afterwards and then I like to go out and skate usually before my workout our shoot pucks or do something extra. If you count 18 holes of walking golf after, then that also would be included.

On his favorite activities as a kid…
I had a group of probably about five to eight friends and we would be on the run all day. We would either be out on the hockey rink or we’d be on the golf course or we’d be playing baseball. We all did the same activities, so in the fall it was football, in the summer it was hockey, golf and baseball and it was just a lot of fun.

If he wasn’t a professional hockey player, he would be…
Probably something in Finance. I was an economics major in college and I enjoy that type of thing.

On his favorite sports teams…

Anything Minnesota except the Vikings. I can’t stand the Vikings. My dad grew up in Green Bay so I’m a big Packers fan.

If he had one wish, he would wish for…
Just for, I guess, to have a healthy career, no major injuries and for my family to be healthy and happy.

On his favorite TV show…

I have a couple of them. One of my all-time favorites is probably Seinfeld. I have every DVD. I’ve watched every episode, all the behind the scenes. You probably don’t want to watch the show with me because I quote the whole thing.

On his favorite movie…

If you are looking at a comedy I’d say Dumb and Dumber is probably one of my favorites. It’s on all the time and it’s also one of those movies where I could probably quote every single line, but I watch so many movies. Dumb and Dumber is probably one of my favorites though.
