Islanders thank fans for attending rally and public meeting
The New York Islanders would like to thank all the fans who attended the rally and legislative meeting today in Mineola. A first-class arena that will be the home for your Islanders as well as the entertainment destination Long Island deserves will need your support to become reality.

After today’s public hearing, where fans showed up by the hundreds to show support, the 19 members of the Nassau County Legislature, in accordance with Nassau County by-laws, will vote on May 31 to put a referendum on the calendar.

Don’t let today be the end of speaking up for this project. You should contact your Legislator as well as Majority Leader Peter Schmitt and Minority Leader Diane Yatauro and let them know you support the referendum. Click here to see the list of Legislators.

Thank you again. Let’s go Islanders.
