TRANSACTIONS: Invited by the Islanders to their 2011 Mini-Camp.

LAST SEASON: Appeared in 10 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (American Hockey League), scoring 11 points (5g/6a) and adding four penalty minutes, after finishing his senior season with the Northeastern University Huskies (Hockey East Association)…Posted career highs in points (34), goals (13), assists (21) and shots (106) for Northeastern…Tied for second on the team with five power-play goals…Finished his career with 105 points, becoming the 46th Northeastern hockey player to do so…Tallied two goals and one assist to post his fourth-career three-point game on Oct. 23 against the University of Massachusetts-Lowell River Hawks…Scored the game-winning goal on Dec. 4 against the Merrimack College Warriors…Completed his NCAA career with a goal and two assists against the Boston College Eagles on Mar. 18.

2009-10: Captained Northeastern and tied for second on the team with 28 points (12g/16a)…Finished with six power-play goals, tied for second on the team…Added 42 penalty minutes…Became the first Northeastern player to have a three-assist game since Feb. 2, 2009 (C. Donovan)…Recorded a three-point game (1g/2a) on Jan. 15 against the University of Vermont Catamounts…Scored both a power-play goal and short-handed goal on Feb. 8 against the Harvard University Crimson…Recorded the 40th assist of his career on Mar. 5 at Boston University.

2008-09: Skated in 34 games for Northeastern, scoring 20 points (8g/12a)…Finished his sophomore season with a plus-10 rating, while adding 71 penalty minutes…Tallied an assist in each of the first two games of the season in the Kendall Hockey Classic Oct. 10-11 against the University of Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks and the University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves…Scored goals in three straight games from Nov. 1-14 including the game-winner on Nov. 8 against the Bentley University Falcons.

2007-08: Completed his freshman season at Northeastern ranking third on the team in scoring with 23 points (11g/12a)…Played in all 37 games…Recorded his first two points (1g/1a) on Oct. 27 in a 4-3 loss to the University of Maine Black Bears…Named Hockey East Rookie of the Week for Nov. 12.

JUNIOR: 2006-07: Served as team captain for his third season with the Burnaby Express (formerly Coquitlam) of the British Columbia Hockey League…Ranked second on the team and fifth in the BCHL with 104 points (32g/72a) in 52 games…Added five goals and 14 assists in the postseason…Named to the BCHL All-Star team…Member of Team Canada West, which won the World Junior A Challenge.

2005-06: Skated in 60 regular season games with Burnaby, tallying 80 points (30g/50a)…Led the BCHL in playoff points with 37 (13g/24a), leading Burnaby to the BCHL League, Doyle Cup and Coastal Division championships…Named Most Improved Player on Burnaby…Was also a member of the RBC Canadian National Junior A Championship team.

2004-05: Named the team’s Most Improved Player, scoring 36 points (14g/22a).

2003-04: Attended St. Thomas More Collegiate High School, where he played for the North Delta Flyers, recording 46 points (19g/27a).
