TRANSACTIONS: Selected by the Islanders in the seventh round (185th overall) of the 2010 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
LAST SEASON: Played in 100 minutes through three games in a backup role during his sophomore season with the Clarkson University Golden Knights (Eastern College Hockey Association)…Posted a .940 save percentage and a1.94 goals against average… Made first-career start in a 2-1 loss to the Air Force Falcons (Nov. 26) in the first round of Denver Cup, making a career-high 32 saves on 34 shots…Also played in the third period of a loss to the fifth-ranked Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs (Jan. 4), turning aside all eight Minnesota-Duluth shots…Final action of the season was a seven-save effort in the third period of loss to the 15th-ranked Union College Dutchmen (Jan. 8) allowing only one goal…Sat out the final nine games of the season with an injury.
CAREER: 2009-10: Saw time in one game as a freshman at Clarkson, making his NCAA debut.
2008-09: Posted a 14-3-1 record over 18 games with a 2.90 GAA and an .893 SV% for the Kingston Voyaguers (Ontario Junior Hockey League)...Helped Kingston to the 2009 OJHL Championship and a berth in the semifinals of the Royal Bank Cup Canadian Junior A Hockey Championships...Named the Most Improved Player in the OJHL.
