With just a few weeks before training camp, let’s take this opportunity to look at the Islanders top 20 prospects and see what they are in store for during training camp and beyond for the 2011-12 season.
These rankings and projections are my own and are of my opinion based on what I have read and seen from each player. I encourage some discussion on the piece. You will not find Travis Hamonic, Andrew MacDonald or Matt Martin on this list since they are no longer considered rookies.
The ceiling projection you’ll see for each player is what I think he’ll turn out to be if he reaches his full potential, I can tell you most names on this list won’t do that. Some will, some will be better than anticipated, but in most cases it’s just the way it is.
