September 28: Five skaters were placed on waivers, including forwards Trevor Frischmon, Tomas Marcinko and Tim Wallace; defensemen Dylan Reese and Ty Wishart.
September 26: Mark Katic was placed on the Injured Reserve retroactive to Sept. 13.
September 16: Steve Staios accepts invitation to the New York Islanders 2011 Training Camp.
September 16: Josh Bailey agreed to a two-year contract. Mark Eaton, Mike Mottau and Mark Streit were all removed from injured reserve after passing their physicals.
September 15: John Tavares agreed to a six-year contract, which will go into effect on July 1, 2012.
September 11: Camp invite Adam Hughesman did not clear his physical and has returned to junior.
September 10: Brett Gallant and Benn Olson agreed to professional tryout deals for training camp; Art Bidlevskii agreed to an Amateur Tryout Contract (ATO). Kevin Poulin was removed from injured reserve.
