Islanders release ticket packages for 2011-12 season
The New York Islanders announced today several ticket packages are now on sale. Three of last season’s most popular packages return as well as a new weekend package that gives fans exciting new incentives and the flexibility to attend a multitude of games to fit their demanding schedules.

Last season’s most popular partial ticket plan, the P.C. Richard & Son Double Shift Package, pairs hockey games with concerts and family shows at Nassau Coliseum. Fans can purchase two tickets to a select Islanders game starting at $99 and receive two tickets to a select non-hockey event at the Coliseum. Double Shift games include marquee match-ups against the Washington Capitals, Philadelphia Flyers, Chicago Blackhawks and many more of the NHL’s top teams. Fans purchasing the Double Shift package can pair those tickets with seats to a variety of family shows and concerts, such as Sesame Street Live: Elmo Makes Music.

The Pepsi Family Fun Package will feature nine special games during the first half of the season, where fans can purchase four tickets to select Islanders games starting at $99 and receive four hot dogs and four sodas. Pepsi Family Fun Pack games feature the Islanders facing off against teams such as the New Jersey Devils, Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Islanders have also created a package for the ever-changing schedule of their fans, starting as low as $79. The Modell’s Sporting Goods Intro Package welcomes new hockey fans into the fold by allowing them to choose tickets to four of a select group of games during the first three months of the season.

The Weekend Package features 15 games throughout the season.  Pricing for this plan that accommodates the schedule of the Islander fan that cannot make it to the weekday games, start as low as $31 a ticket and features games against the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Devils.

Already on sale is the Islanders “Decades Pack,” which includes a ticket to Opening Night as well as five nights throughout the season where the organization will honor former players that span the Islanders 40-year history. The induction of Ed Westfall, Ken Morrow, Pat Flatley and Kenny Jonsson will fall on four of the six nights that make up the “Decades Pack.”  Fans interested in attending the six decade nights, can take advantage of the specially priced “Decades Pack.”

The Islanders also have numerous partial plans available.  These plans include 22, 15 and 8 Game Plans, as well as the 12-Game Division Plan for the Islanders fan that can’t get enough of the rivalries.  The Division Plan features games against the Rangers, Penguins, Devils and Flyers.

All packages are now available by calling a ticket representative at 1-800-882-ISLES extension 1 or by visiting www.newyorkislanders.com.
