Pink Stick Auction
The Islanders will auction off game-used sticks decorated with pink ribbon tape to help support breast cancer awareness.

To help support Hockey Fights Cancer during the month of October, The Islanders are launching their annual Pink Stick Auction on Friday, Oct. 7.
Fans will have the opportunity to bid on the game-used sticks –wrapped in pink breast cancer awareness tape and autographed – from Oct. 7 through Oct. 16. The sticks will be used during warm-ups and portions of the Oct. 15 Breast Cancer Awareness game against the New York Rangers.
Also included in this auction are Rick DiPietro’s pink goalie pads that were used last season during season’s Hockey Fights Cancer month.
The highest bidders will not only receive their winning items, but also two tickets to the Islanders Hockey Fights Cancer game on Tuesday, Oct. 25. At this game, they will be able to pick up their items as well as continue to support the Islanders fight against cancer.
