The winters on Long Island aren’t always easy. They can be windy, snowy, icy and above all else, cold. With this winter setting in, the New York Islanders want to make sure that no one is without a warm coat. Please join our effort to keep Long Island warm this winter by donating coats during the Islanders coat drive.
Fans that bring in coats prior to the games on Jan. 16 against Nashville and Jan. 21 against Carolina will receive a voucher for a free ticket to an upcoming game. They can be redeemed when the Isles take on the Toronto Maple Leafs Jan. 24 or the Buffalo Sabres on Feb. 4.
Vouchers will be limited to one per person, but there is no limit on the number of coats that can be donated.
The Islanders coat drive is supporting Good Morning Americas and One Warm Coat’s Warm Coats, Warm Hearts initiative. The ultimate goal is to reach one million coats.
