Isles prospect update
Check out how Isles prospects did in last weekend's playoff action:

Anders Lee & Robbie Russo – Lee and Russo were both eliminated from the Central Collegiate Hockey Association playoffs as the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish fell in two games to Michigan. Lee scored to force overtime in Game One, but the Fighting Irish lost in the second overtime 2-1. Michigan took Game Two, 3-1. Lee had 34 points (17g/17a) in 40 games while Russo has 15 points (4g/11a) in his freshman campaign.  The Fighting Irish will wait until the CCHA playoffs are over before seeing if they are awarded an at-large bid into the NCAA tournament.

Brock Nelson
– Nelson assisted on the game-winning goal in the first game of North Dakota’s two-game sweep of Bemidji State over the weekend in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association playoffs. Nelson is tied for the team lead in points with 40 points (23g/17a) in 37 games this season. North Dakota advances to the WCHA Final Five where the Fighting Sioux will take on St. Cloud State Thursday night at 7 p.m. The winner faces the top-ranked University of Minnesota Golden Gophers on Friday.

Scott Mayfield – The Denver University freshman assisted on the series-winning goal in overtime of Game Three against the University of Wisconsin. Four of Mayfield’s last six points this season have come on game-winning goals. DU advances to the next round of the WCHA playoffs and will face off against Michigan Tech Thursday at 2 p.m. With North Dakota also still in the playoffs, there is potential for Mayfield to play against Islanders rookie camp roommate Brock Nelson.

Jason Clark – Clark did not play in Wisconsin’s three-game playoff series against Denver this weekend. He is suffering from a hip injury and previously had work done on both of his hips. Wisconsin lost their series 2-1 to the University of Denver.
