Jesse Graham
SEASON TEAM (LEAGUE) GP G A P PIM
2012-13 Niagara (OHL) 19 1 3 4 8
2011-12 Niagara (OHL) 68 4 37 41 36

Selected in the sixth round (155th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft, Graham enters his third season with the Niagara IceDogs in 2012-13.

Eric Cairns (Islanders Player Development): "Jesse is a puck-moving offensive defenseman with a creative flare. He put on size this summer and this season needs to learn how to apply that strength in his own end against opposing forwards, while using his transition and offensive skills to keep putting up points."

Brenden Kichton
SEASON TEAM (LEAGUE) GP G A P PIM
2012-13 Spokane (WHL) 18 7 13 20 8
2011-12 Spokane (WHL) 71 17 57 74 49

Selected in the fifth round (127th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft, Kichton enters his fifth season with the Spokane Chiefs in 2012-13.

Cairns: "Brenden is entering his over-age season in Spokane. He put up an enormous amount of points over the last two seasons and he's also worked on his overall game since we drafted him. This summer he worked on his overall conditioning as well as his foot speed to take his skills to the next level. He's already become much better in his own end and will look to continue rounding out his game."

Loic Leduc
SEASON TEAM (LEAGUE) GP G A P PIM
2012-13 Cape Breton (WHL) 18 0 2 2 20

Selected in the fourth round (103rd overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft, Leduc enters his third season with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in 2012-13.

Cairns: "Loic is a big, rangy, two-way defenseman that's hard to play against. It usually takes a little more time for bigger players to add size to their long frames and it will be interesting watching his game evolve into a more physical style this season."

Anders Lee
SEASON TEAM (LEAGUE) GP G A P PIM

Selected in the sixth round (152nd overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft, Lee enters his third season with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in 2012-13.

Cairns: "Anders is going to be the captain of Notre Dame this season. Last year he dominated at times in the CCHA; this year we're looking for him to take it a step further to help his team win more games and to continue to dominate around the opposing net with his size and strength, while still playing a sound defensive game."

Selected in the second round (34th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft, Mayfield enters his second season with the University of Denver Pioneers in 2012-13.

Adam Pelech
SEASON TEAM (LEAGUE) GP G A P PIM

Selected in the third round (65th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft, Pelech enters his third season with the Erie Otters in 2012-13.

Cairns: "Pelech is a meat and potatoes defensive defenseman. It may not look pretty all the time but he gets the job done at a very high level. This summer he had wrist surgery but still was invited to play in the Canada-Russia Challenge and played very well. Hockey Canada likes him a lot, which is a huge compliment to him, due to the fact that he's not the most noticeable defenseman out there."

Selected in the fourth round (95th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft, Russo enters his second season with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in 2012-13.

Cairns: "Robbie Russo is a 'steady-Eddie' type of defenseman. A puck mover with good mobility who plays on the power play. He made some strides last year but may have run out of gas towards the end of the season. This summer he worked on his conditioning in his training. He's going to play a lot of minutes for Notre Dame this year."
