NHL Announces Cancellation of Remaining Preseason Schedule

Islanders Home Preseason Games At Barclays Center & Nassau Coliseum Canceled

The National Hockey League announced today the cancellation of the remaining preseason schedule. The League had previously canceled all preseason games scheduled during the month of September.

The Islanders had two home preseason games scheduled in October. On Tuesday, Oct. 2 the Islanders were to face off against the New Jersey Devils in the first NHL Game ever played in Brooklyn, NY, at Barclays Center. The Islanders were set to conclude their five-game preseason schedule against the New York Rangers on Thursday, Oct. 4, at Nassau Coliseum.
