The Islanders went 2-3-1 against the Flyers last season, losing the last matchup 3-2 on March 15. Trailing 3-0, the Islanders mounted a third period comeback that ultimately fell short. Michael Grabner and John Tavares lit the lamp, while Mark Streit tallied two assists. Evgeni Nabokov made 19 saves in the game.

The Islanders and Flyers will meet three more times this season.

Claude Giroux - Right Wing
The 25-year-old Giroux is tied for third on the Flyers in scoring with 10 points (three goals, seven assists). Giroux increased his goals, assists and points totals in each of his first five seasons in the league, up to 93 points (28 goals, 65 assists) in 2011-12. The Hearst, ON native's biggest contributions have come in the playoffs, where he has 55 points (21 goals, 34 assists) in 50 career games.

•With a goal and three assists on Feb. 16 vs. New Jersey, Matt Moulson has 14 points (5-9-14) in his last 10 games.

Monday's game concludes a stretch that sees the Islanders play nine straight games in the New York metro area. The team plays at Ottawa Tuesday.
