Jesse Graham Freezes Frontenacs
Niagara IceDogs defenseman Jesse Graham led the way to an IceDogs victory this past Sunday with three points (one goal, two assists) in a 4-1 win over Kingston. The 155th overall pick in the 2012 Draft scored a short-handed goal assisted by fellow Islanders prospect Ryan Strome. With eight games remaining in the regular season, Graham leads team defensemen in scoring while Strome has 10 points (two goals, eight assists) in his last six games.
Brenden Kichton Drops First Place Edmonton Oil Kings
The Islanders fifth-round pick in the 2011 NHL Draft led the Spokane Chiefs to a 6-4 victory over the reigning Western Hockey League champions this past Friday. Kichton tallied three assists, and is now tied for the team lead in points with 70 (18 goals, 52 assists). Kichton leads all Canadian Hockey League defensemen in points.
