Game Preview: New York Islanders at Florida Panthers
Islanders conclude three-game road trip against the Florida Panthers

Season series (2011-12)
The Islanders went 1-3-0 against the Panthers last season, but won the final matchup 3-2 on March 25 in a shootout. Kyle Okposo scored the game-tying goal in the third period, and Frans Nielsen was the only player to score in the shootout. Evgeni Nabokov stopped 33 shots in the win.

The Islanders and Panthers will meet twice more this season.

Jonathan Huberdeau - Center

The third-overall pick in the 2011 NHL Draft leads the Panthers with 12 goals and is tied for the club lead with 17 points. Huberdeau has three multi-goal games in his first NHL season. In his last season of junior hockey in 2011-12, the Saint-Jerome, QC native posted 72 points (30 goals, 42 assists) in 37 games.
