Canadiens player to watch With 23 points (nine goals, 14 assists) in 25 games, the fifth-year NHL veteran is on pace to lead the Canadiens in scoring for the second consecutive time. Although he was kept off the score sheet in the last matchup between the Isles and Habs, he scored twice in the Islanders 4-3 overtime win in late February. |

| Islanders Storylines •The Isles come into Thursday’s game with at least one point in seven of their last nine games (5-2-2). •After going 2-1-0 on a three-game road trip, the Islanders are in the midst of their final extended home stand of the season. The first game back at the Coliseum ended in a 5-3 defeat at the hands of the Ottawa Senators.
