Season series (0-2-0)
The Islanders have lost both matchups this season against the Bruins, 4-2 at Boston on Jan. 25, and 4-1 at home on Feb. 26. In the most recent tilt, Casey Cizikas scored his second goal of the season, and Evgeni Nabokov stopped 30 pucks, but Boston scored three unanswered goals between the second and third period to earn the win. Thursday is the final game of the season between the Islanders and Bruins.

Bruins player to watch
Jaromir Jagr - Right Wing

The veteran right wing has made an impact since the Bruins acquired him at the trade deadline, posting five points (one goal, four assists) in four games. The active career-leader in goals, assists, points and plus-minus is still getting it done at age 41, with a cumulative 31 points in 38 games.
The five-time Art Ross Trophy winner posted his 1000th career assist on Mar. 29, and is riding back-to-back multi-assist outings.

Quote of the Day

“You know what’s to be expected of them. I think we’ve got to keep playing the same way we have, and raise up to the challenge. We know they’re a good team, but we’re a good team too. There’s eight more games to go. The standings are really tight. Every game is going to be crucial. At the same time, all our focus and concentration is on tomorrow night’s game. Nothing else matters right now.”
