The Islanders have won one and lost one against the Jets this season, with the loss coming Jan. 27 in overtime on the road. In the last meeting, Winnipeg led 2-1 in the second period before the Islanders rattled off four unanswered goals in a 5-2 victory at the Coliseum. Five different Islanders lit the lamp, including Anders Lee, who netted his first NHL goal on his first shot. Kevin Poulin turned aside 23-of-25 shots for his first win of the season, as the Isles outshot the Jets 39-25.

Andrew Ladd - Left Wing

Jets captain Andrew Ladd looks poised to lead the team in scoring for the second time in his three seasons with Atlanta/Winnipeg. The Maple Ridge, BC native has 18 goals and 26 assists through 44 games this season, and is riding a four-game multiple-point streak (six game point streak overall), helping the Jets to a five-game winning streak. Ladd has one assist in two games against the Islanders this season, but is coming off back-to-back three-point outings (4/18 vs. CAR - three assists; 4/16 vs. TBL - two goals, one assist).
