Keep up to date with everything going on in the Islanders farm system
Ryan Pulock Turning up the Heat for the Brandon Wheat Kings
The Brandon Wheat Kings were happy to have their Captain Ryan Pulock back and ready to go. In the first two games of the season Pulock has scored six points (two goals and four assists). With two goals and two assists, Pulock led the Wheat Kings to a 4-3 victory over the defending Eastern Conference Champion Edmonton Oil Kings on opening night. Selected 15th overall by the Islanders in 2013 NHL Draft, Pulock signed a three-year, entry level-contract on September 28th.

New Niagara IceDogs Captain Jessie Graham Starts His Team Off Right
Jesse Graham rejoined the Niagara IceDogs for his fourth season in the OHL and was promptly named the fifth captain in club history. In seven games this season, Graham has four points (two goals and two assists). Graham’s first goal came in the IceDogs’ home opener just 1:17 into the first period. His second goal came two games later against the Sarnia Sting, giving the IceDogs a 2-1 lead. The IceDogs ended up winning that game 4-3 in a shootout.

NCAA Hockey starts this week
Several Islanders prospects in College Hockey (NCAA) are looking forward to their season starting Friday, October 11.

Jake Bischoff and Taylor Cammarata begin their college careers with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers at the IceBreaker Tournament this weekend. Friday, Minnesota takes on Mercyhurst in the opening round and will play either Clarkson or New Hampshire on Saturday.

Junior Robbie Russo and the University of Notre Dame start the year off with a home-and-home against the Western Michigan Broncos this upcoming weekend.

Freshman Doyle Somberby and the Boston University Terriers open their season with a Hockey East match against UMass on Friday and a non-conference meeting against Holy Cross on Saturday.

Sophomore Stephon Williams joins the Minnesota State Mavericks for another season. He helped lead the Mavericks to victory against Lethbridge (Canada) in an exhibition game this past weekend. The Mavericks first regular season game is scheduled for October 11 against Providence College.
