The Islanders last met the Oilers on the last day of 2011, beating Edmonton 4-1 at Nassau Coliseum. Matt Moulson posted a goal and two assists, while John Tavares had a goal and a helper. Evgeni Nabokov stopped 25-of-26 shots, as the Islanders picked up their second win of a three-game win streak. The teams will meet once more this season, on Thursday, March 6 in Edmonton.

Taylor Hall - Left Wing

The No. 1 overall pick in 2010 co-leads the Oilers in points (one goal, five assists) through seven games. Hall has increased his offensive production each season he's been in the league, topping the point-per-game plateau last season (50 points in 45 games). In two career games against the Islanders, Hall has yet to register a point.
