LAST GAME:
Apr. 4, 2013: NYI 1, WSH 2 SO - RECAP, BOX SCORE, HIGHLIGHTS
Capitals player to watch
Alex Ovechkin - Forward

Ovechkin is off to a dynamite start in 2013-14, with 15 points (10 goals, five assists) in his first 12 games. The Russian superstar is a lethal sniper and his 10 goals are good for third in league scoring. Ovechkin missed the Capitals last two games, but practiced Monday and should be ready to go against the Isles.

Quote of the Day:

Head Coach Jack Capuano:
"I really like the fact that the last couple of games, our four lines, we rolled them and they didn’t care who they were up against. They understood that puck management was the key and we played well."
