The Islanders won the season series, taking four of a possible six points from the Canadiens. Two blueliners, Thomas Hickey and Radek Martinek, scored the game-winners for the Islanders and Evgeni Nabokov was in goal for both wins.
The Isles won the only meeting in Montreal, a gutsy 4-3 comeback win in overtime.

Canadiens player to watch
P.K. Subban - Defenseman

Subban is having another strong season as the league's reigning Norris Trophy winner. The 24-year-old defenseman leads the Canadiens with 16 points (three goals, 13 assists) in 17 games this season. Subban's slap shot is as good as they come and at 6'0, 217 lbs., he can throw his body with force. The Isles have to be aware of #76 at the point tonight.
