3:45 - Thomas Vanek scores, but the potential game-winner gets called back due to a kicking motion.

3rd Period:
3:16 - Matt Carkner and Blues' Ryan Reaves each get two minutes for unsportsmanlike conduct. Teams to play four-on-four.

7:59 - John Tavares reaches out into the slot and tips a puck on net. Halak slides over for a good save on the captain's nifty chance.

11:46 - NYI PP (Calvin de Haan - Two Minutes Hooking). Isles PK 1-for-1.

16:30 - Puck hits both posts behind Poulin and stays out. Play gets reviewed, but puck - somehow - does not cross the line.

19:33 - STL goal. T.J. Oshie ties the game with 26.7 seconds to play. 3-3 game.

END OF 3RD PERIOD: Game tied 3-3. Isles lead shots 33-32.

2nd Period:
1:17 - STL goal. Tarasenko nets his second goal of the game and ties the score 2-2.

3:58 - Matt Martin finishes off a tic-tac-toe goal from Colin McDonald and Casey Cizikas! Islanders lead 3-2!

4:39 - NYI PP (Kevin Shattenkirk - Two Minutes Cross-Checking) Isles PP 0-for-1 tonight.

10:00 - Kevin Poulin robs Alex Steen on the doorstep with an outstretched pad!

16:00 - Poulin stops some Blues pressure by covering the puck. Cizikas and TJ Oshie engage in some Jiu-Jitsu during a srcum.

17:43 - STL PP (Kyle Okposo - Two Minutes Delay of Game) Isles first PK of the day.

18:35 - Blues get whistled for Too Many Men. Teams to play 4-on-4 for 1:08. Maxim Lapierre serving minor.

END OF 2ND PERIOD: Islanders lead 3-2. Shots are 26-18 Isles.

1st Period:
1:58 - Isles third line generates some quality chances early on. Clutterbuck intercepts a pass in the slot, but can't beat Halak. Offensive zone draw upcoming.

4:01 - NYI GOAL! Thomas Vanek starts skating out of the zone, but circles back for an opportune puck. The Austrian sniper goes top cheese on Halak. 1-0 Islanders

4:01 - With an assist on Vanek's goal, Kyle Okposo sets a new career-high with his 53rd point of the season.

15:11 - NYI GOAL! Kyle Okposo stops behind the net, doubles back and scores on a wrap around! Vanek and Thomas Hickey pick up the assists. 2-0 Islanders!

16:43 - Blues' Brendan Morrow and the Isles' Colin McDonald each get roughing minors. Teams to play four-on-four.

17:17 - STL goal. Vladimir Tarasenko puts the Blues on the board, beating Kevin Poulin with a wrister from the high slot. Islanders lead 2-1.
