Islanders Prospect Report
Jesse Graham\'s five-point weekend highlights this week\'s prospect report.
AMATEUR PROSPECTS:

Jesse Graham: Five-Point Weekend

Jesse Graham lit the lamp with a five-point weekend (3g/2a) for the Saginaw Spirit. Graham posted his first-career OHL hat trick in Saginaw’s 7-0 shutout over the Belleville Bulls on Friday night. The Oshawa, ON, native also scored game-winner and added an assist to finish the game with four points. The next night, Graham assisted on the game-tying goal, powering the Spirit to a 4-2 comeback win over the Kingston Frontenacs. The five-point effort gives the blueliner 23 points (4g/19a) in 26 games for the Spirit. Graham also had 16 points (6g/10a) in 24 games with the Niagara IceDogs before being traded to Saginaw in late November.

Nilsson and the Sound Tigers penalty kill were superb, killing off 13 Bridgeport minors. The Swedish netminder was named first star of the game. Anders Lee, Scott Mayfield and Mike Halmo each scored for the Sound Tigers while Pierre-Marc Bouchard had two assists. Bridgeport lost its only other game of the weekend, falling 2-1 to the Albany Devils. Alan Quine scored the lone goal for the Sound Tigers.
