• Injuries Mount: Kyle Okposo (lower body) and Lubomir Visnovsky (upper body) are both day-to-day.
Bounce Back: The Islanders are looking to bounce back after a 6-0 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday.
Nielsen: Frans Nielsen has set career highs in goals (22) and points (49). The Danish centre has five points (3G, 2A) in his last four games.

: The Blue Jackets are currently fighting for eighth in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
Bobrovsky! The reigning Vezina winner is having his second-best season statistically (.919 SV%, 2.47 GAA). Bobrovsky was named the NHL's first star of the week ending Mar. 16. 
Hot Jackets: Columbus is 10-5-2 in their last 17 games.
Hello Horton: Nathan Horton has 16 points (4G, 16A) in 30 games in his first season in Columbus.
Islanders player to watch
Travis Hamonic - Forward

Travis Hamonic is the Islanders top minute-crunching defenseman, logging an average of 24:42 TOI per game, 14th most in the league. Hamonic is a steady, physical presence on the Islanders blueline and brings leadership and accountability on the ice and in the locker room. The 23-year-old, St. Malo, MB native was recently named an alternate captain and is signed through 2020. Hamonic has 12 points (one goal, 11 assists) in 57 games this season.
Blue Jackets player to watch
Ryan Johansen - Forward

Ryan Johansen is having a breakout season in Columbus, leading the Blue Jackets with 27 goals and 52 points in 70 games. Johansen, the fourth-overall pick in the 2010 draft, shattered all of his previous career-highs for goals, assists and points. The Vancouver, BC, native has points in three of his last five games, including a game-winner against the Canadiens on Mar. 20. Johansen had a goal and two assists) against the Isles on Nov. 9.
2013-14 season series (0-1-1)

The Islanders are 0-1-1 against their new Metropolitan Division rivals. The Islanders dropped a 3-2 shootout decision in their home opener on Oct. 5 and lost 5-2 in Columbus on Nov. 9. In their most recent outing, Frans Nielsen and Thomas Hickey had the Islanders in a 2-2 tie heading into the third period, but Columbus scored three third period goals en route to the 5-2 loss.
