Draisaitl generates offense on his own with maybe the best backhand sauce pass around in the past few years. He has options available to him anywhere on the rink. He isn't the fleetest of foot, but his ability to think the game makes him a very good player. He's going to make plays and appear more of a playmaker but don't be fooled, he can score too.

Sam Reinhart is the other co-scoring leader of the draft class, scoring 36 goals and 69 assists en route to a 105-point season. Reinhart – the younger brother of Isles prospect Griffin Reinhart – improved his stats in each of his three seasons in the WHL and can play both ends of the ice. The Kootenay Ice center has won U-18 gold, Ivan Hlinka gold, U-18 bronze and was named the WHL player of the year. Reinhart has the potential to go first overall.

If you want to play the game with Sam Reinhart, you had better be two steps ahead of the play and ready because this guy is always a step ahead of everyone else. His hockey sense and offensive game is heads-and-shoulders above the average player at the age of 18. He doesn't move like Michael Grabner, but he doesn't need too. He's just flat out an offensive generator. Put some speed and a couple shooters with this guy and watch out. is the official Web site of the New York Islanders Hockey Club, L.P. and are trademarks of New York Islanders Hockey Club, L.P.  NHL, the NHL Shield, the word mark and image of the Stanley Cup and NHL Conference logos are registered trademarks of the National Hockey League.
