The Islanders Children’s Foundation is a New York State not for profit foundation, qualified under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and qualified as a public charity. The Islanders Children’s Foundation was created in the Summer of 2003. The I.C.F. is partnered with The Hope Process in an effort to encourage donations for charitable organizations. Since January 2007 the Foundation has raised more then $1 million for the cause of helping countless children from Long Island and around the world.

The Islanders Children’s Foundation is dedicated to supporting Long Island based non-profit organization that provides opportunities to children. The Foundation will work with those children’s charities that focus on the areas of health, education, and youth hockey development. Our fans, through their participation in our numerous fundraising events and activities, raise funding for the Foundation.
Throughout the course of the season a variety of auctions, raffles, and full team events are held in order to help raise money for the ICF. Look for the following to take place during the upcoming season:
- 50/50 raffle at each Islanders home game
- Islanders Business Club Golf Outing (September 10, 2009)
- Islanders Children’s Foundation Day at Adventureland - October 4, 2010
- Sticks out of the Hands Auction or Pink Sticks Auction (October 17, 2009)
- Halloween Mask Raffle (October 31, 2009)
- Sticks and Steaks Dinner (February 7, 2010)
- Valentine’s Day Puck Surprise (February 13, 2010)
