Half of the earnings go towards charitable causes, including the Islanders Children’s Foundation, and the other half is for the winner! You can purchase tickets up until the start of the 3rd period. Alcohol Service Discontinuation
The sale and service of all alcoholic beverages will cease at specific times during events, at times related to the game clock or the duration of the event for all general concession areas, mini restaurants, in-seat service areas, and portable bars in accordance with the following:

Hockey: 12-minute mark of the 3rd period
Alcohol service can also be discontinued at the discretion of management.

Alcohol Serving and Consumption
Barclays Center and its food and beverage concessionaires have adopted an alcohol policy that is designed to protect guests and the community from alcohol-related incidents. In addition to our responsible alcohol service guidelines below, Barclays Center offers a designated driver program at most major sporting events.
Guests are expected to obey all state and local laws governing the purchase, possession, and consumption of alcohol. It is illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to consume alcoholic beverages. In addition, the following items are to be noted:

  • Barclays Center reserves the right to deny entry to guests who appear to be impaired.
  • Alcoholic beverages will not be served in containers larger than 24 ounces.
  • There shall be a maximum limit of two alcoholic beverages sold to each Guest, per purchase, per valid ID.
  • All Guests who appear to be younger than the age of thirty (30) will be asked to show positive identification prior to being served alcoholic beverages.
  • Acceptable forms of valid United States identification are: Driver’s License, Passport, United States Passport Card, State Issued I.D. Card w/ Photo, Military I.D. w/ Photo and Mexican Consular Card.
  • Barclays Center reserves the right to eject anyone under the age of twenty one (21) who is observed to be in possession of, or consuming alcohol on the premises.
  • Barclays Center and its food and beverage concessionaires will implement ongoing responsible alcohol management T.E.A.M (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management) training sessions for its serving staff.
  • Guests must discard alcoholic beverages prior to exiting the building.

Autographs
Pre-signed merchandise is available at the Game Night Auction located at Gate 17 in the Nassau Coliseum. The Islanders do not hold organized autograph sessions on game nights.

Automated Teller Machines (ATM’s)
There are a total of seven ATMs in Barclays Center. There are five located on the Ticketmaster Main Concourse of the arena conveniently located at all four corners of the building and one additional in the GEICO Atrium. In addition, there are two located on the Metro PCS Upper Pavilion.

Baby Changing Stations
Baby changing tables are located in every restroom throughout the arena with the exception of the restroom amenities located on the event level.

Baby Bags/Bottles/Formula
Baby bags, plastic bottles, and formula are permitted into the building. Should the bag become an obstruction due to its size, guests may be asked to check the bag in to the Ticketmaster Main Concourse Brooklyn Marriott Guest Services Center.

Bags/Backpacks/Large Bags/Suitcases
Bags must be 18”x14”x10” to be permitted into the building. Oversized bags, i.e. backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc. will be prohibited from entry into the arena.

Bistro 1255
The Bistro 1255 is located in the Lower Lobby, to the right of the escalators, which can be accessed from the Box Office lobby.  It opens an hour and a half before Islanders games begin and closes an hour after the final buzzer.

Cameras/Photography
Cameras with telephoto or interchangeable/detachable lenses and external flash (professional photography equipment) are not permitted inside Barclays Center at any time. Video recording devices, audio recording devices, monopods, bipods and tripods are also not permitted. Video recording on any device and/or flash photography is prohibited at all times.

This policy will be strictly enforced and management reserves the right to deny any electronic device at their discretion.

Cellular Phones
The use of cellular phones is prohibited at the Box Office, but is permitted everywhere else within the arena – providing that the use of these items does not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the game.

Charles B. Wang Ice Hockey Project Hope
Founded by Islanders owner Charles Wang, Project Hope’s ultimate goal is to provide young Chinese athletes with access to educational opportunities. Credit Cards
Visa, MasterCard, American Express and the Discover Card are accepted forms of payment at all New York Islanders ticket locations and outlets. From Eastern Long Island (South Shore)
Sunrise Highway to Southern State Parkway to exit 22N (Meadowbrook Parkway South) to exit M4, follow signs to Nassau Coliseum.

From Eastern Long Island (North Shore)
Long Island Expressway West (495) to exit 39 (Glen Cove Road south) to Old Country Road. Turn left and go east for one (1) mile to Merrick Avenue. Turn right to Nassau Coliseum.

From Manhattan
* Battery Tunnel to Belt Parkway, proceeding east to the Southern State Parkway, to exit 22N (Meadowbrook Parkway North) to exit M4, follow signs to Nassau Coliseum.

* Midtown Tunnel to Long Island Expressway (495) East to exit 38, Northern State Parkway to exit 31A (Meadowbrook Parkway South) to exit M4, follow signs to Nassau Coliseum.

Donations
Only 501(c)(3) organizations may apply to receive merchandise, memorabilia, and/or monetary donations.  These organizations must be operating on Long Island.  Preferential consideration is applied to organizations that assist children in the areas of hockey, health, and education.  Requests should be submitted to the Islanders Corporate Office, on official letterhead, to the attention of the Community Relations Department.  Please submit all requests at least 6 weeks in advance of any event, and include all relevant information.  Requests may also be faxed to 516.501.6762.

Executive Suites
The Islanders Executive Suites have more than 30 luxury suites, ranging from 8 – 22 seats, available to purchase or rent for all Coliseum events! All suites provide guests with a birds-eye view of the game, including closed-circuit and cable TVs, and the option for VIP Parking and catered food and beverages. First Aid/Emergency Medical Technicians
Trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) personnel are available to assist any guest in need at every Barclays Center event. The primary First Aid is located on the Ticketmaster Main Concourse near the Brooklyn Marriott Guest Services Center. A secondary location is on the MetroPCS Upper Pavilion near Section 212.

In addition, Barclays Center is equipped with Automatic External Defibrillators (AED). Designated employees, including our EMT staff, have been properly trained and certified to use the AED. In the event of a medical emergency, contact a member of our Guest Services or Security staff for assistance. These devices are located at both of the First Aid locations.

Our guests’ experience at an Islanders game is our top priority.  On game nights, the Guest Services booth, located at Gates 2 and 16 on the concourse, is open from one hour prior to game time through the second intermission.

Ice Girls

Formed in 2001, the Ice Girls are the first group of its kind in the NHL. The Ice Girls perform a variety of tasks, including cleaning the ice surface, entertaining the crowd and in general, making the experience at Islanders games more enjoyable for anyone. Islanders Iceworks
Located in Syosset, Islanders Iceworks is a state-of-the-art hockey complex, and the official practice facility of the New York Islanders. Iceworks offers hockey/figure skating programs for the novice to expert skater. The facility provides Long Island’s most comprehensive programs for children/adults to enjoy the game of hockey, develop new skating skills and learn from the best. Lost Children
Lost children/guests should be directed to any one of our Brooklyn Marriott Guest Services Centers, located on the Ticketmaster Main Concourse and the MetroPCS Upper Pavilion. The employee will immediately notify a supervisor that they have received a report of a lost / missing child, (referred to as a Code Adam), and the Supervisor in turn, will immediately notify the Security Command Center and all other Departments. Parents looking for a lost child should contact the nearest Guest Services Staff Member or Security Officer. For safety reasons Barclays Center is unable to make in-arena announcements for lost children or guests.
Lost/Stolen Tickets
For lost tickets, guests must contact their point of purchase. For stolen tickets, guests should contact local law enforcement first, then their point of purchase.

New York Islanders Children’s Foundation

The New York Islanders Children's Foundation was created in the Summer of 2003, and is dedicated to supporting Long Island-based nonprofit organizations that provide opportunities to children. The Foundation will work with children's charities that focus on the areas of health, education and youth hockey development. NYI Booster Club
The NYI Booster Club was formed in 1972 and serves as a medium for Islanders fans to meet on a weekly basis to share stories, meet players and organize trips to various Islanders events. Public Transportation
Railroad and buses:
Take the Long Island Railroad to one of the following train stations:
Westbury, Garden City or Hempstead.

Taxi service is available from the Westbury and Garden City stations and should be approximately a 10 minute ride. A taxi service is available at these stations by calling 516.333.3131.

From the Hempstead station, walk one (1) block to the Hempstead Bus Terminal. Take the N70, N71, or N72, which will drop you off on Hempstead Turnpike opposite the Nassau Coliseum.

Radio Broadcasts
All regular season New York Islanders games can be heard on WRHU 88.7 FM. Join Chris King for all the exciting Islanders action. Restrooms
Women’s restrooms can be found adjacent to Gates 3, 7, 13 and 17. Men’s restrooms are adjacent to Gates 2, 8, 12 and 18. Additional restrooms are located in the Lower Lobby next to the escalators and outside the Coliseum by Gates 1 & 16.

As loyal New York Islanders fans, we realize that you may have the opportunity to watch an Islanders game on the road!  If there are away games you are interested in attending, please contact your ticket representative, or call 1.800.882.ISLES so that a representative can assist you.

School Programs
The New York Islanders Islanders @ School Program, launched in 2009, will provide a variety of programs geared towards schools.  “Islanders School Day” and the “We’re All Islanders School Assembly” fall under the @ School Program, which is a web-based school program for grades 3 through 6. Security
For safety purposes, all guests entering Barclays Center will be searched and have their belongings scanned. Barclays Center reserves the right to confiscate items which may cause danger or disruption to the event or other guests, or which are in breach of building policies and/or prohibited items. Any guest who declines to be searched may be denied entry or ejected from Barclays Center.

Sparky the Dragon
Sparky has been the Islanders’ mascot since 2000. You can find him roaming Nassau Coliseum as well as various functions all across Long Island. To find out more information about hiring Sparky for your next event or birthday party, please call 516.501.6870.

Smoking
Federal laws prohibit smoking throughout Nassau Coliseum.  Smoking is permitted in the designated smoking areas located outside Gates 1 and 16.
